My birthday gift from my Plastic Surgeon

Well I know I haven’t updated on my reconstruction status in a week or so. Last week I only did 25 cc’s and now unfortunately I’m getting filled every other week.( The week off is my gift lol)  I’m  now in the home stretch now I have three to four more fills to go!

I think I see it?

With all that being said, I’m still in a lot of pain. Not so much my left side, its the right side  The fills are getting harder to to take. I think it’s because of the previous radiation and the fact that there is not much room left in the boob region. However, I am able now to go without my bra stuffers! I actually somewhat have boobs now! They are more or less shaped like a whoopie cushion, mine don’t make noise when you squeeze them!

Hey! That’s an idea, to have squeekers in the expanders, kind of dog toys lol. That would be great, so at all the follow up appointments my girls would get a little squeak!

Anyone up for squeakers in your expanders?!?! Lol

About chemobrainandmore

My name is Heather and I am now 39 yrs old living at the Jersey shore. I was diagnosed Jan 2011 with stage II A breast cancer right after my 36th birthday. Sadly I was married for just a year at the time.I had four rounds of chemo 33 round of radiation a lumpectonly and MANY ,MANY biopsies. As if that was not enough I ended up having a total hysterectomy summer of 2012. And then this past July 2013 I under went a bilateral mastectomy and I am still under going reconstruction. I am a mom, a wife and a survivor! I have had more ups and downs then I have fingers and toes! But through it all I have had a smile on my face and try to laugh my way through it all. I have done two Strides Walk for breast cancer and I am extremely proud of how much I have raised ( I made pacesetter status!) I enjoy laughing and making people laugh, and if my blog can shed some light on cancer and make one person laugh at ,or with me ,then the fight has been worth it. Thank you for reading about my life and taking a ride with me on this journey. Feel free to reach out to me, I love being able to pay it forward and help others!

Little things in life truly make me happy now. I will write with in the next week. I mostly blog from my phone. But I want to sit and type at my computer for that. Thanks again. Xo

    • Lmao!!! So would my Pitt Bill! Except he some how manages to get all the queakers out if the toys lol.Although I do find he lays on me ALL the time now. They def gave a sense there is some thing going on. Does your lab lay on you more?

I rescued him exactly two years ago this week when I had complete my radiation from the first round of the big C.
