Well today is the day that I am having the c-section for my twins! (don’t know if they are boys are girls yet !) Really I’m getting my brand new perky magical new breasts! Remember those magical breasts that I talked about many, many blogs ago? These are the ones that would never need a bra and would look fantastic in everything that I wore? Yes those breasts!! Oh and let’s not forget these the most important thing is they are cancer free!
I am entering into the surgery with anxiety, some fear, but especially excitement to see how I’m going to look after all it’s over. Its time to close this chapter in “Heather’s Breast Cancer Shenanigans and Surprises”. π
YAY ! The big day is finally here. Please post an update after your exciting surgery. All of a sudden you are going to have soft and squishy breasts β itβs a big big day !

Yes they are def soft! Its amazing the change!!! Thanks for reading about my big day. I will be posting soon I think after my next dr spot so I know what my next step is in this journey. Xo
Yippie!!!! I will be thinking about you and your battle won!!! So proud of you and such great news. Thanks for sharing!!!! I have my reconstruction surgery (expander exchange) may 13th. Is that your surgery?? I can’t wait. These expanders have been in me for a year and 5 days (as of the day I get the surgery). So ready to get them out too!!! Congrats!!!!! π
Thank you! Yes this was the one for the exchange. Its crazy how different they feel, if I could have taken the expanders home with me and burned them I would have!! Lol
That makes me excited. Are you in a lot of pain????
I’m pretty banged up however not nearly as bad as the mastectomy. It hurts when I get up from laying down, like the stitches are gonna open. My right side hurts more then the left. I had a capsule form around the expander so my PS had to break it up. But that side is the one I have issues with because of the radiation. And I’m pretty tired but I think that’s a given with every surgery. Tuesday is my follow up so I will see what next for me in this reconstruction process.
Congratulations! Let’s hope they’re girls. Boy breasts are so awkward:) My expanders go in next month!
Lamo!! Yes boys would be so awkward!! I’m happy you are almost there. I hated having them in they are so hard compared to the implants.
Yay you!!! I’m so jealous…I’m more than ready for these ‘rocks’ to be gone….enjoy the new ‘foobs’ π
BTW…Love the nails π
Thank you!!! I had to celebrate in my own little way! Its so hard to write on your own nails!! I love your term foobs it perfectly explains what they are!
You did great, I couldn’t write on my nails if I tried…my left hand totally has a mind of its own!
As for ‘foobs’ I’d seen it mentioned a few places, and like you, I thought it was perfect, so adopted it. π
Thinking about you, lady! Hoping everything went okay and you are happy with the new girls!
Wishing you a quick and easy recovery!! Xo
Thank you! It went good, I’m in pain, but much easier then my last surgery. I will need a little tune up in about three months once they settle. π
